This project began as an internal staff awareness campaign encouraging sustainability within the local council. It featured a mascot named Les Waste, with a paper suit made from a repurposed spray suit and shredded paper. During the creative process, we expanded the campaign for both internal and external audiences. Custom-animated lettering using stop motion added a unique touch. The campaign's success was evident: it won a WALGA award and generated significant free media coverage, highlighting the City's commitment to sustainability.
